With a purity level of 99.998%, Brit Nova Pureshield Argon is the ideal gas for TIG, MIG, and MAG welding of stainless steel (ferritic or martensitic) and aluminium. Its low ionising potential allows for easy formation of a stable welding arc without reacting with the metal components, ensuring high-quality welds every time.
Pureshield Argon is predominantly used as a shielding gas, forming an effective protective layer due to its high density and total inertness. For thicker materials, it can be combined with other gases to create a more fluid welding pool, improving weld penetration and consistency.
